A Ghost Story 2017
This film opens the viewers mind on the spirit world and the concept of time. The long shots sat with me as those moments of silence pull in the viewer to experience the emotions that the characters endured. Grief, love and confusion fester within these 5 minute shots. This film stuck out to me as it shows Miss Stevens (the teacher) as a human. As a teenager we never view our teachers to be human. We look at them as individuals who have figured it out. We ask for guidance, however, in this film the roles are switched. Great film
