Longlegs 2024
I can’t remember a film that made me feel so unnerved. Longlegs does not let you take a breath and is somehow the better for it. This is an unsettling film that stuck with me long after I’d walked out and is certainly not for the faint of heart. For me, it was a fantastic showcase of a modern horror auteur’s skill. I look forward to seeing what new ways Oz Perkins can think up to scare the shit out of me

Everything Everywhere All at Once 2022
I have to applaud this movie for swinging so far for the fences, but it just did not land for me. The film successfully makes its most impactful scene revolve around two inanimate rocks, which is incredible filmmaking. I understand the praise and appreciate the level of artistry on display, but for me I just wasn’t entertained.
