Not very original and squarely in the "feminist body horror genre" but my god execution execution execution. Music, sound, casting, VISUALS, are all 10/10. I haven't seen them all but so far this is definitely pick for best picture.

It's better than your typical Oscar bait... but not that much better.

Just an incredible film about the interaction of human life and human society. In the particular is contained the universal. Deceptively simple film, one of my all time faves.

One of my favorite movies. Not a minute of wasted runtime during the sprawling length. You can watch it in 2 3 hour parts, or as 3 two hour movies or just do an hour episodes for 6 episodes.

The characters are so thoroughly fleshed out and even the "mysterious" one is given so much time to develop.

I've seen it twice. Incredible movie about family, society, love, children, and life itself. Watching it in one sitting really feels like a 3 hour movie.
