I watched this version accidentally while searching for the 1991 version 🤷♀️ Still a lot of fun, though aimed at a younger audience with a more classic set-up/punchline reveal to the story 🐈

Quiet, creepy and stunningly animated, and you can't quite shake the feeling that someone is narrating this story to you as if it were a ghost story told around a fireplace. But no words are spoken during this short film, with the lonely echos of shoes on stone corridors and the wind whistling though trees doing all of the work. Like an unsettling dream that seems familiar and intimidating at the same time.
