A cool casual goofy watch. Like if a MADtv skit was extended into a movie.
I wish they made Nasha a better character. The romance between her and Mickey is very dry and uninteresting plus her politics are cherry-picked. And outside of that there’s not really much to her. It makes her feel like a token.
I also would’ve liked to have had a crumb of interesting commentary in the midst of all the satire. That being said, my fav thing about this movie is probably Mark Ruffalo’s and Toni Colette’s acting and chemistry together. They made me laugh almost every time they were on screen.
