Watcher 2022
While a slow burn, switching between descending into madness and paranoia with the main character and getting utterly frustrated and siding with the people around her. This movie creates its own air of anguish where at some point you feel for the accused even. you are meant to be just as confused and scared about being in a foreign country with no translation. Followed by long shots and dead air, the tension throughout it almost tangible.
i cannot rave enough about this beautiful piece of cinematography.
