So third on my journey of rediscovery of this franchise is American Wedding. 2003. God it's crazy that 2003 was seventeen years ago. All the stars in this film are in completely different phases of their lives now. Settled down and getting old. It's strange to think that this movie is as old now as a movie made in 1986 like Ferris Bueller or Pretty in Pink was when this film came out. It doesn't feel that old.

So following on from my rewatch of my all-time favourite film American Pie the other night, I thought it was high time I took another dive into the rest of the franchise.
This sequel hits all the points that I love in the first film and indeed of the Genre of American-Gross-Out-Teen-Sex-Comedies-of-the-Late-Nineties-and-Early-Aughts™ (AGOTSCLNEA) that I so love, and it does them even more forcefully.
