Warrior 2011
The movie asks you to suspend your disbelief at nearly every turn. The acting is a lighthouse in a storm as nearly every major character’s actor is putting their heart into the role. I was ready to give it a better rating for that reason alone, but the outcome of the big tournament was FAR too big of a reach. You could easily rewrite that with a more sensible outcome that still drives home the themes and message of the movie. They got a little too cliche with it there.
