The Lovebirds 2020
I don’t mind a gimmicky rom-com premise. I’m actually a sucker for them mostly because they usually promise a lot of comedy and heart. If done well. In Love Birds, if the mystery develops and if their relationship is tested, all simultaneously, it fulfills the promise of the premise in my book.
The biggest underlying flaw was that the couple’s relationship problems weren’t put at odds with the need to work as a team to solve this mystery.
