  Jesse Eisenberg wrote a beautiful, heartfelt film about connecting with and honoring one's ancestry and made it even richer by showcasing two complex characters in David and Benjamin.
  Making himself David is a personal choice that really adds to the character in a meta level, but having Kieran Culkin be his Benji is a stroke of fortune that truly elevates the film!

  I went in blind and found myself thoroughly engrossed throughout. A series of stories so engaging in the superficial ain't-this-fucked-up kind of way, as well as in the metaphors lying underneath. I loved the bizarre and the imaginative in this. Loved the performances as well. The first story was my favourite.
