The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King 2003
Aragorn’s Elvish name was Estel which means hope.
When Elrond presents Anduril to Aragorn he says in Elvish “I give hope to men.” and Aragorn responds “I keep none for myself.”
These were his mother’s last words before she died and has to be one of the best details in the series.

Oppenheimer 2023
Waiting two full weeks to see this movie in 70mm IMAX killed me but it was oh so worth it. Hands down the best movie going experience of my life. Just hearing the film reel in the booth almost brought a tear to my eye. It truly felt like I was leaving the twilight zone when I exited the theater at 2am.

Babylon 2022
I feel like Babylon is equal parts love letter to and exposé on Hollywood. Or maybe that’s just nonsense and I have no idea what I’m talking about. Either way I had an incredibly good time trying to interpret this movie in real time.
