This film was an artistic expression of so much delusion that I felt insane as well. There’s this ramp up that continuously happens, and Mikey Madison is just perfect. I’ve known of her before because of her take in Scream 5, so I’ve wanted to see her in more. I’m glad she is getting so much recognition because her performance is everything and more. A movie I enjoyed immensely and felt finite: that’s all we needed to see. It was an amazing film and deserves all the flowers.

Wicked 2024
I’ve waited for this movie for what feels like my entire life. Wicked is the first musical I was ever introduced to, in middle school show choir. This was… a movie. In a way. There was so much happening, with so little pay off. There are at least 5 different subplots that all coexist and range in length. The acting is questionable from everyone but O’Hara, Ortega, and Theroux. Most characters really don’t have a genuine arc, everything feels rushed and there is TOO MUCH HAPPENING. And then none of it really matters in the end? And then the ending is a dream sequence? With no real…
