I never imagined the book could be adapted to a film - the reading experience, especially going in blind, is so surreal that I expected no movie could convey it - yet just as the book kept surprising me again and again right up to the end, so did the film. Beautiful experience, but I feel they missed out by cutting some parts at the end.
