The Hunt for Red October 1990
Heavy handed anti communism propaganda. I’m no Soviet apologist but here it came off kinda corny. A fantastic lineup of actors betrayed by terrible writing. Another film from my childhood memory I decided to finally watch. I like to revisit these kind of big name war movies that I remember from commercials or academy awards.

Y Tu Mamá También 2001
This was one of the best, or rather personal favorites that I watched this year last winter. I forgot to log it. But this film is really great. Definitely worthy of the praise it has and the hype that surrounded it when it came out. I was a kid but I remember it like swept the Oscar’s or at least got nominated for a ton. Great movie. Great story. Incredible acting and photography.
