As someone who’s been stuck in an existential crisis for more than half a year I thought they would deal with the topic of dying of a bit better. The movie was entertaining but I would not say remarkable, there were too many plots happening at the same time.

this was legitimately so funny and also felt like a warm hug, hit the perfect nostalgia spot
scratched the right parts of my brain at the right time. to exist as a woman when you don’t fit the mold of what society has deemed you are supposed to be. infertility, post-menopause, internalized misogyny and an overwhelming attempt at freedom never really knowing what exactly you are searching for just knowing you don’t wanna be just ‘that’. a desire to be understood yet revolting against at an attempt of understanding.

Didn’t expect this one to hit so hard. Maybe I’m just in a very sensitive spot, maybe I just miss the sea. Something about the cinematography and the sound made me feel like I’m actually there with her. I felt the constant dampness of the islands, her despair as the sound of the waves suffocated me through her relapse, I was there for her solitude and newfound freedom.
The finale had me hypnotized.
