Oh wow really really beautiful. warning a classic nothing happens film but I love very dearly. Such a cool and artistic take on vampire genre.
Love the different forms of ‘taste’ and aestheticism through out the film I want to be more culturally/musically/artistically knowledgeable now. First I need to stop brushing my hair and wear sunglasses at night.
The first shot of the spinning record and Adam and Eve had me hooked!

Luca always leaves me in awe at the delicacy and rawness (pun not intended) explored in his films.
Even when brutal and horrifying (mother scene JESUS CHRIST) - the characters r so real. Something about giving the characters space to breathe w out a need for extensive dialogue allows me to know the characters better, learn their mannerism. He’s so brilliant at presenting humanity and intimacy in a way not often shown in film
