They hold decades of my self-provided digital data in one hand and a lukewarm Letterboxd review in the other. A noose sits around their neck. They shout, "Rob! Rob! I love you! Look at me, Rob. It's all for you!" before jumping.

  Alamo Drafthouse in Downtown LA is kinda like the Dave & Busters of cinema, but instead of plunking down 5x the cost of a typical arcade machine to play a 3D Space Invaders shooter on a wall-size jumbo-tron, you find yourself in a luxury recliner, watching crisp digital projections of film grain. Yes, I'm sure the Alamo Drafthouse in Austin has a vibe that I'd find appealing... but have you also considered the original Dave and Buster's was a dope arcade…
