Aftermath 2017
I was completely engaged at the start of the film. Wanted to see how Schwarzenegger would do in a drama like this and he was totally my favorite part of this. Beyond that I didn’t have much to hold onto. For as small as the main cast was, I wish we could have gotten more into the mind of Arnold’s character near the end of the film. Probably won’t ever watch again but when the credits rolled it got me invested enough to research the real world event.

The first half goes and keeps on going. Very good stuff and then BOOM. One nothing of a character building scene happens and then it’s bogus crude for the rest of the film. No one develops and none of the elements are strong. By the end of the film when everyone says farewell I care about no one. Wish I could say different and see these side characters shine.
