  I think this film beautifully captures grieving for a person you love who has also hurt you and the emotional fallout of that. There is so much happening within the subtext and the friendships are really rich in the way they are crafted. Some of the dialogue is heavy handed but I think that can be made up for considering the main characters are artists/creatives. Beautiful locations and interiors. A lot of the frames are beautiful I just wish there was more consistency throughout within them.

  The Muppet Christmas Carol 1992

  For context: My actual biggest fear/phobia is the muppets. I didn’t willingly watch this, I went to a mystery film screening which unknowingly turned into exposure therapy. 
  HOWEVER
  Whilst I don’t understand the language/ choices behind some humans being humans and some muppets being humans and some animals being animals but other animals being muppets, this film is a masterpiece. Michael Caine was snubbed of every award ever. The ghost of Christmas future walked so the dementors could run. If…
