Dunkirk 2017
Visually pleasing. Watched a youtube doc about the historical events after to fill in any gaps. Could’ve done without Barry, harry, cilian etc but I get that Christopher Nolan wants to work with stars. I watched over half of this on mute bc I was on the phone and it still hit.

Dune: Part Two 2024
This was a crunchy movie. Watching it felt like when you step on a good leaf and feel the crunch beneath your feet. A very satisfying experience throughout and makes me understand what the “this is what Star Wars felt like in 1977” crowd was saying.
I think Timmy C was acting at a B level which is underwhelming but i understand that choosing him as Paul gives him a chance to grow into his role as more movies are…

Godzilla Minus One 2023
Went to the movies for the first time in months and saw this, went kinda hard. I’m familiar with a few godzilla movies but watching this one in the WW2 backdrop really set itself apart. Some would prefer more demolition but I felt that there was an appropriate amount considering the context.
