A Real Pain 2024
I don’t think I’ve ever seen a more real depiction of depression quite like Kieran Culkin’s Benji. The dialogue was so subtle yet deep and real to life - found myself crying like a baby at the dinner scene and the rooftop scene.
I also found myself relating to both Benji and David in the film and how they both deal with grief in different ways. The subtlety of Jesse’s character and his troubles were just as interesting to watch as Kieran’s
