Listening to Mike Muncher’s Evolution of Horror episode on The Descent inspired me to rewatch this, trying to hold on to all the love he has for it.
The Descent is ICONIC. Full stop. ICONIC. Everything about the first half of this movie is so scary. The tension and silence is unreal. Visually, it’s so good and compelling. I mean, the hill of bones.
