The Perks of Being a Wallflower 2012
This review may contain spoilers. I can handle the truth.
Truly a good example of a coming of age film that an audience can really relate to, with charlie being introverted ( and lowkey autistic) it’s harder for him to make friends after his bestfriends suicide, especially when everyone is a mean highschooler. what happened with his aunt being revealed at the end it really shifts the mood from feeling bad for him for the loss of his aunt, to feeling visceral shock at the fact he went through what he did and kept it buried inside for so long.
