See How They Run 2022
There's a lot of charm in this film. I absolutely love the writing, the breaking of the 4th wall, the foreshadowing, the poking fun at itself and also the dad jokes. Saoirse Ronan stands out for me, it's very refreshing to see her play such a light and funny character. Sam Rockwell is great even with a dodgy accent, as well as the rest of the star studded cast.

Past Lives 2023
A mature and gentle exploration into relationships. Past Lives left me emotionally shattered into a thousand pieces. If you've ever had a long distance relationship or experienced longing for someone you can't be with then I have no doubt that this film will stir up emotions for you too.
The film is beautifully shot, magnificently written and wonderfully acted. Everything was understated and felt real, all the emotions were in the moments of silence and missed glances. I will definitely be rewatching this film more than once in the next 12 years.
