  Staying very entertained by the icon that Capote is and the excellent portrayal by PSH, however disappointed by the portrayal of Perry and Capote’s relationship. Obviously the movie is called ‘Capote’ and not ‘Perry,’ but giving Perry so few lines does injustice to the book. No mention of the frequent abuse and only briefly touching Perry’s upbringing makes it somewhat challenging to understand the empathy Capote feels for Perry, when in reality ’In Cold Blood’ constantly tries very hard to…
