Great winter viewing movie. It does a great job of making you feel the uncomfortable conditions the characters are in. Nice touch being shot in black and white. The sound engineering was something that stood out to me as a positive. Both actors nailed their roles.

Brokeback Mountain 2005
Came out when I was a senior in high school and I was not emotionally intelligent enough to view it for another 20 years. It was a heart string puller. Every character has their flaws but are seemingly trying their best to navigate a difficult situation in a tough timeline of American social perception. It is a beautiful story and the scenery is great. Both Ledger and Gyllenhaal’s performance is nothing short of amazing.
