something about the sadness of never truly knowing who your father truly was as a person is always heartbreaking and fascinating for me to watch, but its so hard to do it right. charlotte wells did it so beautifully in a film filled with so much tenderness and care. i will think about this one for a long time, but first i need to stop sobbing.
