Wish this one was like 20 minutes shorter. The narrative aspect dragged when the visuals weren’t at the forefront. 

Weird they shot this on expired film but the only aesthetic they really leaned into was grain. Would have loved to see more color shifting, but I get it for consistency.

Somehow looks cheap and expensive at the same time. Still, I can’t deny how engrossing the visuals could be.

The profound sense of loneliness present is Jane’s movies always strikes me. A human desire to see and be seen. Just.. yeah. 

The interlude with the bands was probably the main thing that didn’t really work for me. The vibes throughout the rest of the movie more than make up for it. 

Probably the saddest movie I’ve seen in a while.

What a fad this internet thing is.

When you think the main character is going to have a redemption arc but he tastelessly dedicates his stream to minorities really nails it.

Half star bump for a cat knocking over some metal pipe outside my apartment and freaking me out while watching this at 1am.
