It was always impossible for me to imagine that death would, one day, claim David Lynch. It felt too natural, too easy to explain, to make sense of. David Lynch was always this character, this phenomenon who lived in his own world and had this very unique way of looking at ours, and who allowed us some glimpses into his imagination through his art.

I wasn't really sure about the bit at the end but ultimately I think it shows us just why Trump is so problematic. He openly and publicly defends and kind of supports White Supremacists and Neonazi ideas which makes these groups feel important again just like the "Birth of a Nation" movie did with the KKK.
