  Part of this were really amazing but it would be hard to say I liked it overall- Faye Dunaway was incredible. But then there were many parts that were so self aware and cynical that my eyes rolled way back into my head… usually when the characters yelled monologues at each other. So… most of the third act. This film has contempt for the human race.

  I do not know what to think of this film. Perhaps it's because I just watched it for the first time yesterday. I watched it without knowing about it's apparently famous "genre twist." And I am still working through what turned out to be a very intense emotional reaction.

  Like many great westerns, Bone Tomahawk feels like it has something very poignant to say about the relationship between civilization and depravity. And by God does it say this message with…

  RoboCop 1987

  Fantastic film. This was my first viewing and I came in blind- not expecting anything.

  What I got was a lovely combination of the Terminator meets Dr. Strangelove. Robocop's satire is on point. It is a brilliant dark comedy about capitalism running rampant.

  The worst criminals in Robocop, contrary to my expectations, weren't the "dregs of society" selling drugs on the street. Instead, the worst are the folks who act with impunity from a position of wealth and power.

  Awesome film. This was the first of many viewings, I guarantee it.
