Demon Slayer -Kimetsu no Yaiba- The Movie: Mugen Train 2020

Demon Slayer’s reputation had me fairly excited, if not for the writing then the visual flare. I went in with low expectations regarding the film’s storytelling yet somehow it fell way below the bar. Good lord, you’d think that with so much emphasis on cool visuals that the writers and crew would indulge in showing rather than telling, but after cutting away from a character interaction to literally exposit meaningless information for the fourth or fifth time, I had to walk out.
