Now that I’ve seen two films by Coralie Fargeat I can see that she has potential to become a VERY big director over the next decade. It also clarified that I really don’t like her films. I had to finish this because I started it, in the same way that I used to have to finish an episode of Knight Rider because I started it.
Coralie Fargeat takes the most basic plot imaginable and shoots it like an expensive ad campaign.

This is my fifth Wim Wenders title and - aside from these being some of the most fantastic looking films made by anybody - I'm starting to think that he is also my favourite director when it comes to male protagonists. Bruno Ganz is fantastic in this and I loved Dennis Hopper's increasingly frazzled performance.
