It’s a calm movie about friendship in later life.
They’re 30-40 something and they’re friends by habit so they go on vacation.
Each of them is absolutely insufferable and lovable in his own way and they won’t change. It has a nostalgic color but warm feel.
The great actors and scenery make the dialogues natural.

Unfortunately, this unbelievable, impactful beyond words story is awfully told.
There is no angle. Blurred mix of personal and professional story. The script couldn’t pick between all the events of her life (achievements or horrors) so it failed to depict either meaningfully. Because no choice was made, the timeline makes no sense and every important plot feels unfinished.
The camera movements make you feel seasick. The shots distract and undermine the dialogues and scenes who aren’t that well written.

An other movie about life. Great.
There are a lot of things in this movie : flashes, colours, decors, ideas. But in the end, it’s a movie about the small things being big : decisions, moments, relationships, life.
It’s hard to watch, to follow because it feels like being inside a mind. It explodes in every direction, to the absolutely most absurd scenes but always comes back to a very simple story.
