I’m glad that I got to catch this in a theater before the Oscars—it had some strong performances and cool moments for sure, but I felt kinda meh about it overall

I respect Timothée for devoting himself deeply to the role and singing and playing live, but this continues his streak for me where I can appreciate his performances but haven’t been blown away by anything yet. I find Bob Dylan impressions inherently funny too, so there were some moments…

Really enjoyed this even though there was a group of loud teen boys a couple rows behind me lol

Sure, some of the jokes/comedy didn’t land for me, but it was still a fun and engaging watch with a strong performance by Theo James (his voice works great for narration) and some wild kills!

    Elijah Wood <3

After reading more about Osgood Perkins’s own experiences with tragic loss, I can appreciate his approach to this film even more—death can be pointless, random, and absurd

Excellent needle drops in this too, glad that’s continuing after Longlegs

I love and Pearl, so I went in with high expectations—this is easily the weakest in the trilogy for me. I enjoyed it, just more basic and predictable than I expected

Mia Goth was excellent (of course), lots of great supporting performances too! Shoutout to 6’3” queen Elizabeth Debicki, Bobby Cannavale, Kevin Bacon, & Giancarlo Esposito

Had a blast watching this at a local theater in NOLA :)

    “You are my dream.”

I’m so happy this exists, a lot of it resonated strongly with me! Such a personal, heartfelt, funny film with AAPI actors in the spotlight

Impressively seamless use of texting and the internet. I never thought someone deleting a YouTube video would make me so emotional (sidebar: if there’s an Asian grandmother in a film I’ll probably cry, I did this time)

It explores a lot of themes in its short runtime—there are quite a few…
