I hadn't seen A Simple Favor since its initial release in 2018, so I completely forgot how batshit crazy it is. And when I say this movie is batshit crazy, I mean it in the best way possible. ★★

What a disappointment this turned out to be. Mickey 17 is just bad. And shockingly so. This movie is a clunky, ridiculous satire that doesn’t actually have anything interesting or new to say. Ariana Grande-Butera is a triumph in what can only be described as the best movie-musical in the last 10 years. This movie was beautiful from start to finish.

Halle Bailey and Jonah Hauer-King's onscreen chemistry was unlike anything we've seen from a Disney live action retelling, and it absolutely carried the already stunning and heart wrenching story. My problem with the original Little Mermaid was that we did not get enough of Ariel and Eric's relationship. So I appreciated this version taking the time to show these…
