The Virgin Suicides 1999
revelation: this and the iron claw are one in the same (cringe). I've heard that the book is a far better portrayal of our lisbon ladies and I believe it! besides its tableau-feel and saturation addiction, this movie was very well cast. a little too well cast; they all looked so accurately related that I kept confusing them for each other. oops :p

I have never seen a movie so thoroughly lacking in plot. It felt like neither of the characters were entirely livid; they were both very nice to look at in their British ways but the dialogue was meh and the whole movie felt very sleepy (I fell asleep to it). Did she know the baby was going to jump? Was she a witchy woo the whole time? Why was Willy D low-key chill with mutilation?....probably because of his penis stunt double!!! credz to Josh #3 for that one, yo
