i think most people will find this unwatchable. a hundred million dollar deep dive into the political philosophy of an 85 year old american man (unsurprisingly, he’s anticommunist). it’s not good.
megalop is just shallow. why does the adam driver’s studio look like the apple store? why does new rome’s architecture look like a retirement home in west palm beach? why is every title card aphorism a run-on sentence? how is shia laboeuf ceo of a bank and inciting riots? soviet nuke scare which literally opens the movie and then is never discussed again? turban reveal scene complete with sitar?? hitler-mussolini-ellis island-9/11 montage??? rancid vibes
