  Lots of cool ideas but the pacing, sense of scale, stakes, and action choreography were a step down. Act 1 is ok, act 2 is great, and act 3 is a bit of a mess. Still overall slightly better than the sequels but not nearly as fun.

  neat stuff but its got some serious plot holes and the core message goes back and forth until it settles on "computer bad, conservative american man good". all the ideas about accessibility go out the window seconds after theyre mentioned. its just a mess by the end of the movie. still, neat.

  Decent action movie with jarring placement of adult humor, overused and dated sfx, and a silly bond villain played by john travolta. Could've been great if they really committed to the absurd stuff or were smarter about the execution and message.
