Super lean and highly visual story. Wish krasinski and his daughter’s relationship was more strained at the beginning so the end payoff was higher. Midsection where everything went wrong was the highlight.
First opening night full theater experience - it didn’t disappoint, I felt the energy in the room. Delivered on what it promised, and had some clever bits along the way.
The Social Network captivated me from the moment it started. I was painting while watching, and multiple times I found the brush stop moving because I fell into the flow of the film. The dialogue is quick-witted and powerful. Eisenberg excels as Zuckerberg. He embodies the peaks and perils of obsession, coupled with the unmitigated awkwardness of a 20 year old. I think the ending was too abrupt, but that could just be because I didn’t want it to stop.
