  Ace Ventura: When Nature Calls 1995

  I love that there’s multiple bits that are just loose ends that don’t serve the plot whatsoever. 
  Example: Ace wrestling a gator. 

  Didn’t know this was directed by the Thumb Wars/Kung Pow guy! This makes so much sense. 

  I like that they turned up the volume on animal actors for this one. 

  The “Alrighty Then” phrase was used until it was black and blue.

  This was pleasant without being over the top mind blowing…and I really needed that. 

  Really cool costumes, sets, product design, and creature design. 

  Pattinson is going for it here.

  The comedy is light. Reminds me of classic Gilliam or Burton.

  If Tim Burton was still making good movies, they would be like Mickey 17. 

  The score is also very reminiscent of Elfman.

  It’s unfortunate how much I disliked this doc.

  Being a huge fan of this video game series, I Was stoked to nerd out on things like the levels of the games, the iconic music from the games, and maybe learn more about some of my favorite skaters from the games like Chad Muska, and Bucky Lasek. 

  What I got instead was a 1 hour puff piece that spent half of its runtime explaining the origins of skating, and not nearly…

  I feel robbed. $25 gone forever.
  Noe’s bit was rad. 
  Harmony directed the boring concert? Wtf?

  After the film ended and the credits rolled, one of the remaining teenagers in the theater asked my friends and I if we would like him to send us 20 minutes of footage he recorded from his iPhone from the film. We declined.
