A genuinely unbearable film. It’s a lampoon of the world’s worst people, yet I still can’t glean anything from this that makes me want to like it. I’m kind of astounded by how much I hated this. If it had literally anything to say beyond “relationships are good” and “it takes a while to grow up” (two things it does not say in any novel, subversive, or even interesting way) maybe I could get behind it but sorry, insufferable.
