The Spirit of the Beehive 1973
As a spanish person whose family suffered the dictatosrhip through the XX century, this has been one of my most powerful cinematic experiences. It encarnates the trauma of war and repression in such a delicate, profound and sensitive way. It doesn't rush, it doesn't scream, but whispers and reveals itself in the silence and the absence of a stolen time. Simply wonderful.

I Saw the TV Glow 2024
I didn't get it. Which is kind of weird, because I'm basically the perfect target for this movie. I'm a trans person, a nineties kid, have suffered from dysphoria, conservative parents...
