This was campy and fun, it gave me several giggles.
Brandon Flynn is looking good! His most well known previous characters have died or been on drugs, so seeing him look healthy in a film makes me proud for some reason.
Brandon and Nik had great chemistry, they were really cute together. Strong comedy performances from all though really.
I think I would have liked this more if it was just a ‘Meet the parents’ style film rather than a haunted house comedy.
Great cast, great premise… but kinda boring. Next time add sharks.
At least Simu Lui and Woody Harrelson kept my interests throughout.
Knuckles had more chemistry with his boba straw than Marvin and Rose had with each other.
The action scenes were cool, but they were too staged and choreographed to the point where they became silly.
Side note, good to see Analeigh (now Lio) Tipton from America’s Next Top Model, and 2010’s heartthrob Cam Gigandet.
This was really sweet.
It just shows how connections can be lost but never broken, and that the love for a singer or band can easily reignite childhood feelings.
Great soundtrack and the musical numbers were really fun, especially the one in the water fountain.
