Finally, an answer to the age old question — what if I had a clone? If I was on that ice planet, it wouldn’t have went down the way it did.
In all seriousness, I genuinely enjoyed this movie. It had a great balance of political poignancy, sci-fi action and full circle plot points. I’d gladly watch it again at home with some friends.
I kept forgetting he was a monkey, so this constant flux of remembering again kept me surprised and helped maintain my interest throughout a story I had no nostalgic attachment to or background on whatsoever.
A timeless depiction of greed’s harrowing effects on rationality and, subsequently, the environment at large. Big little monkey, little big monkey
