I love this movie so much…
I’m so relieved I was able to see it in imax. It’s just so beautiful, and perfectly captures the simplicity of life and death in a way that really speaks to me.
I think the first couple times I watched this I had it closer to a 4star rating because I felt that Ashitaka was a rather stagnant protagonist, but honestly he personifies so much; whether it be Japanese idealism, the lonely sadness of an isolationist journey, or simply a human who sees with eyes unclouded by hate.Translated from by
