Big Time Adolescence breaks the mold on coming of age stories. Over the past 4 decades there have been numerous of the same type of movie made aimed at glorifying the high school burnout. For once it was nice to see the “good guys” lose. I also think a movie like BTA is a better and more relatable example to teenagers and especially teen boys.

Where do I begin? After much “Ohhhing and ahhhing” over this film I decided I would see what it’s all about. Before I begin etching Ari Aster’s name into my own personal burn book, I would like to compliment at least one thing, it is a beautifully shot film. As far as visuals as concerned, well there are no concerns.
