  Black Panther: Wakanda Forever 2022

  A really really long, sloppy mess.  Great opening scene, decent final battle… with a lot of boring, poorly written middle.  However, I did appreciate that this movie didn’t have the typical cringe Marvel millennial humor throughout.

  Nosferatu 2024

  First half was fantastic. I absolutely loved the scene when Hutter arrives at Orlok’s castle. Very beautifully shot and well acted.  Second half fell a tad more flat to me, and I’m not even 100% sure why.  Maybe too grim for my tastes.

  While, I can acknowledge the fantastic stop-motion animation, and the wild hellscapes that this movie is filed with… I still can’t help but to be bored nearly to death.  Once the novelty of the animation and the shock value of the scenery wears off, you’re left with a movie that has basically zero plot line that drudges through its nearly hour and a half long run time. Glad to say that I’ve seen it, but I will not be coming back for repeated viewing.. that’s for sure.

  A bit torn on this one.  It’s extremely well made, well written, well acted, well shot.  I would have rated it even higher, but the ending makes zero sense to me.  Came completely out of left field and left me scratching my head a bit.
