This was a fun watch about the struggles of trying to organise a production of Hamlet in GTA, although it was dragged down by the many scenes that were very clearly staged and were trying (and failing) far too much to hit on profound points, which made those scenes all too predictable and dull.
Also the middle third was pretty boring at times where not much was happening, and it wasn't really clear what Sam and Mark were actually planning.…
Justice for Peter.
With an entire cast of unlikeable characters (except for Peter), The Girl with the Needle still manages to captivate with its stunning cinematography, eerie score, and its tragically dark yet all too believable plot of post-WW1 life.
It's sad that the average rating for this will be brought down by people who see a picture of Elon and review bomb it without watching it, not knowing it mostly doesn't even focus on him.
I can see why some people would find this relatively boring or empty compared to the directors' other works, but I think that mostly comes down to taste. I don't think a documentary on space flight is ever going to be quite as personal…

So what do we learn from this film?
1. Men are evil (especially working class men)
2. Women are weak (and not only susceptible to patriarchy but love serving men!)
3. The way to fix the patriarchy is to be mean to men, then wait for them to fix it themselves???
4. The all-male board of directors of Mattel is not so bad because although they're sexist, one of them briefly has good intentions and likes tickles
