I realised in 2012 that i should have seen this during its original theatrical release in its native stereoscopic format. My 3D DVD with anaglyph glasses offered only a tantalising glimpse of what could be a cosy duvet of a cinematic experience. It was my personal "one that got away" from that initial burst of 3D movies released post 2009's Avatar.
