  I got caught up again recently watching this film while on vacation. It started right when I was trying to get some sleep and I’ll be damned if it didn’t hook me just as hard as the first time, even with the Spanish subtitles. Truly the best Cruise movie (performance, story, co-stars) and I say that as a person who celebrates his entire catalogue - Vanilla Sky, Top Gun, Rain Man, even Legend gets high marks in my book. Emily Blunt is incredible as well, and all supporting roles are note perfect, from big names to unknowns.

  What a beautifully deranged piece of cinema. This movie is peak Martin Short just chewing through scenes as only he can, complimented to perfection by Grodin repeatedly losing his mind. Only in the 90s did we get such absolute bangers like this. Larry the Scary Rex forever.
